*Concluded* Planned Enterprise Outage on Wed, Aug 16 between 12am-6am

SWAN Member Library Staff –

This morning’s Enterprise server migration has concluded successfully and the Enterprise catalog is now available for use.

Please note that because this migration did require the full time allotted, the standard overnight harvests had to be suspended. This means any catalog updates, additions, or deletions from the last day will not be reflected in the Enterprise catalog until the next overnight harvest cycle (Symphony/WorkFlows is unaffected by these harvests). That being the case, we expect these changes will become available tomorrow morning.

Following the next full harvest, we’ll also attempt to resume our Enterprise delta harvest processing, which refreshes the catalog data every hour. This was the primary goal of last night’s server migration. We’ll send more news on the delta harvesting following our testing over the next couple of days.

Please note that SWAN’s Enterprise catalog will be unavailable in the morning of Wednesday, August 16th for several hours beginning at 12:00 a.m.

During that time, we’ll be migrating to an alternate host server with hopes to resolve some of the ongoing eRC and catalog harvest issues.

We expect the work to be completed by 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, and will send another reminder via SWANcom prior to the outage. A banner will also be posted to the Enterprise OPAC to inform our patrons of the outage.
