*COMPLETE* Upcoming Web Services Upgrade / Web Services Downtime Tuesday, April 3rd at 9AM

UPDATE 2:00 PM - The upgrade is complete, and the 'Forgot My PIN' bug is resolved.

UPDATE 11:15 AM - The upgrade was delayed, and you may experience up to 20 minutes of down time between 11:30 and 12:30 PM

SWAN will be working with SirsiDynix to perform an upgrade of the current Symphony Web Services platform. We'll be moving to version 2018.03, which resolves a bug with the 'Forgot My PIN' feature.

We've scheduled the upgrade with SirsiDynix for Tuesday April 3rd, to start between 9:00am and 9:30am. This upgrade will require downtime of Web Services for about 20 minutes.

 

During the downtime, the services below will be impacted:

  • Enterprise My Account functions (including payments)
  • Enterprise material availability
  • BookMyne
  • MobileCirc (will only work in Offline Mode)
  • EDS & ERC

Please note that Symphony WorkFlows and SIP2 will not be affected by this outage, so SIP2 devices can remain connected, SIP2 vendors (like ebook vendors) will continue to communicate, and WorkFlows Offline Mode will not be required for this outage. We'll also be posting a notice to the Enterprise OPAC homepages to inform patrons of the outage.

We realize that this downtime will occur during library hours for many of you, and we appreciate your patience while this critical bug is fixed for our patrons.
