Claims Returned and Longoverdue Non-SWAN Interlibrary Loan Items

As the Custom Longoverdue report does not process Claims Returned or Non_SWAN ILL items, we have produced two lists (attached) to assist you with your cleanup of these items. Both lists have separate tabs for each library, so please make sure to check both reports for your library. If you do not find a tab for your library you do not have anything to clean up for that list.

  • Any item on the Claims Returned list remains on the patron record as an inactive checkout, so please check these items out to your library's claims returned user. For further information about this process, see the Claims Returned documentation.
  • Any item on the Non-SWAN Interlibrary Loan list is still checked out to your patron. Please check your OCLC account for the current status of the request and verify the request has been processed correctly. If the item was returned to the owning library, check in the item with the Fine Free Discharge wizard and remove the item. If it has not been returned, bill your patron and remove the item.
