Fines payment issues in Aspen

Closed
Issue
Aspen

There is an issue with fines payments in Aspen, and SWAN staff have temporarily disabled fines payment through the catalog until this issue is resolved.

Fines payments made in Aspen are being processed in PayPal, but they not cleared through the patron's account in Symphony or Aspen. Patrons also receive an error message.

SWAN has manually resolved the payments for users affected by this issue, and any users affected should now see the payments they made cleared in their accounts. SWAN has also posted a system message banner in Aspen that appears on the Fines payment page.

Your library does not need to take any action at this time, whether you have your own PayPal account or are using the SWAN PayPal account.
