Update June 9th: Indexes are complete.
Update June 8th 8:30 a.m.: Some records are displaying "The library does not own any copies of this title" and there are no format or holds options. This is an unexpected result of grouped work changes, and we are working with the Aspen developers to resolve this as quickly as possible. However, you may see this issue throughout the day today.
The Aspen 22.06 release is tonight, Tuesday June 7th, 2022.
Due to major changes to how records are grouped, the indexes will take approximately 24 hours to complete so you may not see accurate item statuses in the catalog. SWAN will provide an all-clear update when the indexes are complete.
- All search and account features will continue to work normally.
- Masquerade mode will continue to work for library staff.
- Availability facets and item status information will not be updated throughout the day on June 8th.
- We expect availability and status information will update as normal by June 9th.
This release includes changes to separately group works by language, which will pave the way for improved personalization features for patrons to set their own language preferences. We will provide more details about the release after it is live and you can explore the changes.
Aspen releases do not impact access to WorkFlows, BLUEcloud, or other services.
