The Aspen 22.09 release is now live. This release includes the following:
Indexing speed improvements for Overdrive
Indexes for Overdrive are significantly faster, which means you will see updates to Overdrive content and availability more immediately.
Bug fix for spotlights
Previously, the "View More" link in tabbed spotlights linked to the list or search used in the first tab only. Now, it will link to the list or search for the tab you are currently viewing.
Ability to hide subject terms
In past usability testing, we've seen that certain subject facets can be confusing or redundant in searching. For example, patrons may see the "Fiction" subject filter and the "Fiction" filter in Fiction/Non-fiction and wonder if they need both.
We now have the ability to hide some some subject terms in the subject filter, and our Bibliographic Services team will evaluate subjects to hide that fall into this redundant category. All subjects will continue to be searchable through keyword searching and subject limited searches (using the dropdown limit).
