Intermittent Hold Override Issue

We’ve received reports that some holds awaiting pickup, when checked out, are displaying the message, “item is on hold for another patron” and requiring an override. If this occurs, simply override the hold to checkout to the patron associated on the hold shelf.

We believe the issue may be relating to some routine database maintenance and do not expect the issue to persist nor impact a significant number of patrons/holds.
