BLUEcloud Analytics for Directors: Circulation Activity & Trends

This series is designed for SWAN Library Directors wishing to learn about BLUEcloud Analytics and how it can assist in providing data to support decisions and present library metrics.

Session 3: Circulation Activity & Trends - This session reviews reports for circulation managers, as well as Directors in providing summary statistics and comparison of activity over time.

Follow-up and homework:

  1. Verify that you can login to BLUEcloud Analytics. Passwords are provided via the Director's portal logins page.
  2. If you will be using BLUEcloud Analytics often, consider bookmarking the login page for ease of access later.
  3. Find and execute reports from a few of the most popular folders:
    1. Circulation - find a report which lists all items that are currently checked out and 13 days or more overdue
    2. Items - find a report that will provide a count of items in your library, by item type
    3. Users - using a dynamic date, find a report which counts users with a last activity date in the month prior (how many patron were active in the last month)
