Unique has pushed a new feature to your MessageBee portal allowing for 2-way communication with patrons via SMS. If you signed into the portal today, you may have noticed this new icon:
The SMS Messaging tool has two primary functions:
- Monitor and reply to SMS messages sent to your SMS phone number. These include any replies patrons send to a notification. (Patrons who respond to an SMS notification do not receive an autoresponse.)
- Initiate SMS message conversations by inputting a phone number.

Please be aware that this feature is in beta and is still in development at Unique. The interface is subject to change. It is at your discretion if and how you want to monitor incoming SMS messages.
