Year in review
A new "Year In Review" feature will show patrons fun facts about their 2024 library usage and recommend titles for 2025. We have enabled this on the consortium catalog. If you would like this enabled for your library or have feedback for the developers for next year, please submit a ticket.
Patrons will see their Year In Review if:
- They have checkout history enabled and
- They have checked out titles in 2024
Library staff may not see the Year In Review in masquerade mode. A patron must directly log in to their account to activate it.
New formats
Aspen now includes formats for Tonies and Yoto. These formats will be applied when:
- Publisher (260b, 264b, 710a) contains Boxine or Yoto
- Title (245a) contains Tonie or Yoto
Add to checkout history
Patrons can now add titles to their checkout history. This can be useful if a patron read or watched the title, but didn't check it out through a SWAN library. Or, if a patron accidentally deleted a title from their history, they could add it back in.
To add a title to reading history, patrons can follow the same process as adding to a list and selecting Checkout History instead of a list.
