Update 10/11/24 8:00 AM: We're seeing issues with Aspen processing Symphony exports, so any changes to items or bibliographic records will not appear in Aspen until these issues are resolved.
Update 10/10/24 7:00 PM: The server upgrade was successful, and My Account functionality is now available. However, it will take some time for the Symphony exports to catch up, so item statuses may be incorrect.
ByWater Solutions, our Aspen Discovery hosting and support provider, is upgrading our Aspen production server, Thursday, October 10th. The upgrade is expected to take the full day. SWAN will send an all clear message via the swancom email list following the upgrade.
For about one hour, the catalog will be completely unavailable for all search and account functionality.
For most of the day:
- Patron account functions will be unavailable in both the Aspen Discovery web catalog and the SWAN Libraries + app.
- Patrons can search in the catalog and the app, but item statuses will not update (e.g. checked out items may show as on shelf).
SWAN will post an alert to all Aspen catalogs during the migration. Thank you for your patience with the Aspen server migration.
