The Cataloging Working Group is comprised of members from the Cataloging Libraries group. The group supports SWAN through participation with input on cataloging standards and configuration changes applied throughout the consortium as well as desired enhancements. The work is presented to the entire membership at the Acquisitions & Cataloging Networking Group meetings.
Membership
Membership is limited to members from cataloging libraries.

Responsibilities
Working Group members are expected to:
- Attend group meetings in person and online
- Collaborate with SWAN staff on activities, which could include:
- Standardizing cataloging procedures
- Identifying responsibilities and expectations for Cataloging Libraries
- Configuration changes
- Contribute to training as needed, through documentation and/or presentations online or in person at the annual SWAN Expo or other events
- Participate in testing new features or configuration changes
Meetings
This group meets four times per year, with one meeting being in-person. Meetings are not recorded, but the chair provides notes for each meeting and any additional updates to the membership on group activity as needed through regular SWAN communications channels.
