Hoopla is currently experiencing an outage across the system. Hoopla will be repaired by tomorrow morning. 5/7/2019

Hoopla made a change to their authentication service early this afternoon, which caused an incompatibility with SWAN's configuration, effectively preventing users from logging in. We have made the required change to our authentication configuration, however, this change will not be live until our nightly maintenance processes run. We anticipate resolution of this issue by midnight tonight (5/7/19)

We're continuing to receive reports of authentication issues this morning. We believe there's still a misconfiguration with Hoopla and are reaching out to them for further investigation.

We've been in contact with Hoopla support and have determined that the issue is relating to a mismatched PIN authentication requirement across our libraries. Hoopla will be working to roll back these changes to their previous setting (no PIN requirement), and we expect all authentication to be functioning as expected with changes applied overnight.
